Biodiversity in Hong Kong：The Kingdom of Macaques
RSS 最後由 編輯
In addition to the 7 million people that live in Hong Kong, another primate - macaques are roaming our picturesque reservoirs. In this episode, we join a newborn as he explores the world and learns life skills by mimicking the adults and playing with other youngsters. We observe the troop throughout the seasons, and discover their unique behaviours such as soil-eating. We also uncover the hierarchy and social structure of the troop, when a troop’s alpha male is challenged by his troop members and is struggling to remain at the top of the social hierarchy.
